The holidays are particularly special at the Georgia Aquarium as they celebrate the Festival of the SEAson! From now through Christmas, the Georgia Aquarium is transformed into its own winter wonderland, incorporating spectacular lights, music, and special holiday entertainment.
My family and I got to witness this event for the first time this weekend and had an absolute blast! In addition to the attractions we already love at the aquarium (see our top 6 attractions here), we got to also enjoy enjoy some exciting holiday fun right there on the Atrium floor, including the daily Waddle Walk with the penguins, Symphony of Snow, as well as photos with Santa!
The entire area surrounding the Aquarium is already beautifully decorated for the holidays, but I was pleasantly surprised by the giant Christmas tree at the entrance of Aquarium. Inside of the Aquarium was also decked out in holiday cheer and if you ever wondered what an underwater Christmas would look or feel like, that was it!
If you live in Atlanta or planning to travel to Atlanta for the holidays, here are some special attractions you can look forward to at the Georgia Aquarium this Christmas season:
