FabKids Review Part 1:  Here’s what you should know about FabKids VIP Membership

10/07/16 | Tips for Moms

Disclosure: This post has been sponsored by FabKids. As always, all opinions are my own.

I was recently asked to try out the FabKids VIP membership service and I’m excited to share my overall experience with you all. For those of you who are not familiar with FabKids, it’s an online subscription service that caters to your kids’ personal style and selects some of the most fashionable kids outfits for you to choose from each month.

What I loved about FabKids was the ease of finding the perfect styles and ready-to-go outfit selections.  My daughters are at an age where they have their very own sense of style, so I included them in the entire shopping experience and allowed them to choose from the pretty large selection of kids clothes FabKids offered.

I was also quite pleased with how quickly the items actually get shipped out, as I received notification that my package had been shipped by the next morning. Of course, my kids loved their selections and I was happy to get some quality kids’ clothes with just a few clicks on my laptop!

How FabKids works:

Once you sign up for FabKids, you get to complete a “fashion quiz” of sorts to get some clues about the child you are shopping for, their sense of style, favorite colors, as well as size information and stores you regularly shop in.  Here’s an example:

step3 step4 step5

Once you complete the quiz, FabKids will show some complete outfit suggestions based on the answers you provided.  You’re not at all bound to the suggestions they give you and are free to shop through their entire selection.  My daughters and I went through the entire selection and found several selections they loved.  In some cases, the availability of certain sizes was limited, but fortunately, there were many great choices to pick from.

When you make your first purchase from the site, you also agree to enroll in the FabKids VIP Membership program, which offers some additional perks and special discounts. With the VIP Membership, you’ll get an email each month with some fresh selections to choose from and order.  Discounts with the VIP membership are pretty significant and really do give you the best deals on kids clothes in my opinion.  Additionally, you start to rack up points with each order which can be redeemed on future orders or for smaller items such as socks and stuff like that.

The cost for the VIP memberships is $29.00 which is billed on a recurring month to month basis. You are free to skip months as needed and of course, cancel at any time.

Fabkids VIP Deal - buy 1 get one free fuzzy boots deal

For a limited time only, FabKids is offering a special for new VIP members – buy 1 get 1 free Fuzzy Boots (in addition to the other savings and benefits I mentioned earlier). Learn more about this promotion HERE.

$30 a month doesn’t sound too steep IMO. That’s 12 sets a year and even if they outgrow the sizes, they’l definitely maximize the usage before they get an entirely new set.
