This Invisible Halloween costume is raising all sorts of concerns and rightfully so! This time of year, Halloween safety is on the minds of parents everywhere, as we already face a myriad of dangers to protect our kids from while out trick or treating – from getting hit by cars in the street, to pedophiles, to tainted and tampered Halloween candy.
With that being said, who the heck thought an Invisible Halloween costume, just a black bodysuit where a child would completely blend in the background of road pavement and be virtually invisible at night?
I don’t tell people what to do with their own children, but please DO NOT BUY THIS COSTUME! It clearly puts your child at risk of getting hit by a vehicle or getting lost. On top of that, think of the other drivers out there who, while being as safe and cautious as possible on the road so as to avoid harming any trick-or-treating kids, simply cannot see your child run into the road causing a traumatic accident for all parties involved.
I’ve said a mouthful, but truthfully, these costumes are somehow flying off the shelves. In case you’re not already convinced, see what TODAY national investigative correspondent Jeff Rossen demonstrates the potential danger.
