My kids are remarkably bad at playing Hide and Go Seek. No offense, but if I say, “Ready or not, here I come” and you shout “I’m not in the closet” from said closet, you pretty much suck at this game. And if you insist on choosing the same exact hiding spot with each and every game…well, that’s pretty much why I’ve encouraged them to play soccer instead.
Not too long ago, we received the One Touch Cabana by Pacific Play Tents to try out. The kids were immediately excited about it. We have several play tents in our home as is, but I immediately loved that this one could be used both indoors and outdoors and had a lot more space than the ones we have. It’s also very lightweight and comes in a carry bag you can take with you to the beach, park, play dates, wherever.
Setting it up is a total breeze. It’s basically a pretty straightforward pop-up tent that requires minimal manpower to assemble and disassemble. I showed the kids how to do it the first time and they were pretty much able to put it together the next time they wanted to play with it while at their grandma’s house.
Which is why when I yelled, “Ready or not, here I come,” I waited to hear Samara shout out her exact location and immediately visited Leila’s usual spot behind the couch. What do you know? They’d found themselves a new spot! Fortunately, it didn’t take too long for me to hear little laughs and so-called whispers in the backyard where I found them laying comfortably in their new Cabana!
So I did what any good mother would do…I left them there to play a little while longer. Haha. After all, they’d brought their dolls with them and since the cabana includes a waterproof floor and full zip up net, I’d never have to worry about any bugs getting to them while they play outside. They played out there for a few more minutes before they yelled out, “Mommy…are you gonna come and get us?”
Now when it’s mommy’s turn to disappear…guess where I’ll be hiding? Lol

That’s such a cool tent, I really want a tent for the kiddos. This one looks like it may be the perfect option!
That’s such a fun story. Well at least now they have a new place to hide and stay in! The tent looks so easy to set up and it’s perfect for the summer too!
