I recently had the opportunity to test out the Comforts For Baby training pants and wipes on my oldest daughter, courtesy of BuzzAgent. You’ve seen this brand before at your local Kroger store – they are the diapers, wipes, and formula in the green packaging that you’ve probably passed over and questioned the quality of such inexpensive products (or maybe it was just me). I’ve used the wipes several times before and had no problems with them. I’d also had several of my friends tell me about the training pants before, however, it was my first time trying them out.

My Real Deal Review of Comforts for Baby Training Pants and Wipes
What I love about them (The Ideal):
As I said, I’ve used the wipes before and loved that they were a much cheaper option and I had no problems with them. Although I was never exclusive to them, I did think they were the smarter choice of wipes to send to the daycare and for multiple uses, such as wiping hands and face.
I’m willing to admit, however, that I am a bit of a diaper snob. My oldest is and has always been – to put it tactfully– very hard on her diapers. Therefore, I simply could not take a chance on too many brands and run the risk of leaks and messes! However, I was very pleasantly surprised at my results with the training pants! I can’t say I found much difference between this and the more expensive brands. I used them both during the day and overnight and from an absorbency standpoint, they were able to withstand even the biggest accidents! My daughter was also comfortable with the fit and texture of the training pants and I doubt she noticed a difference either.
What’s not to love? (The Ordeal):
In all honesty, there’s really not much to say here. If I had to pick something, I would warn that your kid won’t get the pretty and cool characters on their training pants. I know some beginners might adjust better with the support of Mickey Mouse and Disney princesses, but I don’t know how much more you’d be willing to pay for that benefit.
Also, with the wipes, you don’t get quite as many options of texture and scents as you would with the bigger brands. They are unscented and pretty medium textured. This was fine with me, since I generally stayed away from scented wipes anyway, but more options are always nice.
My final word (The Real Deal):
As I said, I had a very good experience with both of these products for my toddler. The training pants are a much more affordable option for training pants and the results are not much different than the bigger brand. The wipes are also a perfect fit for my toddler and I’m glad to buy and send these with her to daycare.
For my newborn, however, I do prefer to stick with another brand of diapers and wipes with just because I want the sensitive option, not for lack of quality. However, for the more seasoned behinds, I do find this to be the better choice for parents who want to save money and still get a quality product.
