Today is officially the first day of spring – Are you ready? In all fairness, most of us this year only really got to experience a few sporadic weeks of winter, but nonetheless, there are some things we need to prepare for spring – from spring break plans to spring cleaning to making sure the family has the perfect spring wardrobe! To find out if you’re ready, ask yourself these questions:
Did you have a spring countdown app on your phone?
Yes, this is a thing! I was traveling a few weeks ago when the groundhog apparently saw its shadow and that’s when I learned of a smart phone app that counts down the days til Spring. Needless to say, if you’ve downloaded this app, you’re probably ready!
Do you or your kids have trouble focusing indoors?
Even though this wasn’t the worst winter, some of us have experienced a little cabin fever. I know my kids have peeked into our backyard on many days longing for me to give them the ok for some outdoor fun! Now that the sunshine is back (hopefully), they can spend unlimited hours and burn off some energy at the playground.
Have you finalized (or even thought about) your spring break plans?
If you answered, “I’ve been ready since November,” you are way ahead of the curve! We finalized our spring break plans to Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago and as ready as I am for little fun in the sun, my kids have already started packing! I found some really perfect spring break fashions for them at our local OshKosh B’gosh and that really made the packing process even easier for us. We found some comfortable shorts, tops, leggings and tunics perfect for any spring break trip! We’ll also be sure to stop by again to pick out some summer shoes and sandals for the beach!

Your website is a wonderful source of great information. It’s been spring in Texas since December, but your blog was still an awesome read! 🙂 Way to go, mama!
Your daughters are too cute! I have been waiting for Spring and have already accepted it minus the allergies, but I have already done some spring cleaning and plan on doing some more.

I am not ready for spring!!! I have to do my cleaning first! Your daughters are so pretty btw. And that giveaway is wonderful!
I always love spring (as it is the season of my birthday), but as a cruel joke– I suffer with seasonal allergies in the spring. Go figure! I’ve spent countless summers in Myrtle Beach. It’s a great family place unless you accidentally end up going on Memorial Day weekend. Then it’s… shall we say… too much for the children?
I am definitely dreading spring cleaning! I want spring to be here though, I am so ready to spend more time outside with my son. I want him to love the outdoors as much as I do.
I have definitely been antsy getting stuck inside. My little boys don’t sit still either.
I haven’t done any of those things, but I am ready for Spring. I just can’t wait to walk outside in a light sweater and not be cold!!
Too cute. I am so ready for the spring and the outfits that come along with it.
All of these outfits are super cute. The girls look amazing!!! Love it so much!!
All I can really focus on is how big and beautiful those smiles are! Such pretty girls. Have a great spring!
