1,2,3…Floogal! What to expect from Sprout’s new original series “Floogals”

01/23/16 | Archives

New Sprout series floogals

PREMIERES JANUARY 23 AT 8PM ET/5PM PT

It’s unfortunate, but nowadays parents have to be even more careful about what our children are watching on television and consuming on their tablets.  I’ve actually been with my girls as they were watching a seemingly innocent cartoon and become so offended by the content, I’ve had to ban them from watching altogether.

Sprout has always been one of the networks whose content seems to please both of us.  The kids enjoy the programming and I am pleased with the fact that they are watching something with both educational and social value to them.  The new original series Floogals debuting on the Sprout Network is no different.  The show is designed for preschoolers ages 2-6, which works out great for my girls to have something to watch together.

Floogal (floogaling, floogals, floogaled)
verb: find, question, explore

Ex. “Floogal your world.”

FLOOGALS follows the daily adventures of 3 aliens who’ve landed on Earth from planet Floog, as they attempt to understand life on earth through  experimentation, learning, and discovery.  There’s Captain Fleeker – a seeker of any open door to adventure; First Officer Flo – a collector of clues and explorer of animals, water and more; and finally Junior Boomer, the tiniest Floogal who likes to dream big and has an eager eye to discover the “hooman” creatures living on Earth.

As Fleeker, Flo and Boomer venture to “floogal” their world, they employ gadgets, teamwork, and hilarious antics, uncovering the many oddities of the world and offering kids and grown ups alike an unexpected and fun perspective on everyday life.

Check out the preview below and for more information about the original series Floogals, visit sproutonline.com.
