Today is the official first day of summer! It has been a gloomy couple of days here in Atlanta, so how did I spend my hot summer day? At the pool of course!
I’ve been asked to try out the new SwimWays Spring Float Recliner and this was the perfect opportunity for me to take it for a spin. I have to admit, I’m usually not a huge fan of these floats because I’ve come across quite a few poorly made ones. Either it’s a pain in the neck to blow it up and put it together, or it’s an even bigger adventure trying to keep it upright! The worst is when you’re already hot and covered in sunscreen and the thing keeps sticking to your legs, thus taking out the whole “relaxation” aspect of the experience. Fortunately, my experience with the SwimWays Spring Float Recliner today was very different.
First, I arrived at the pool with the kids and a girlfriend of mine. I brought my brand new SwimWays float –still in the box. My girlfriend burst out laughing and teased, “Girl, we are going to be here all day waiting for you to blow that thing up…” I couldn’t help but shrink my shoulders at the thought that she might be right.
Guess what – she was wrong.
The SwimWays Spring Float Recliner is actually made with a fabric-covered inflation and a soft cooling mesh seat, and it’s the only float on the market patented Inner Spring Technology (“the Spring”) which allows it to be easily inflated, closed and carried; in addition to the greater comfort and stability! It includes a top of the line backrest, headrest, cup holder and ottoman, combining the comfort from a sit-up style chair with extra luxury details.
Yes, I still ended up staying there all day – but not because of the set up time!
Deflating and storing the item was just as simple. That spring technology I mentioned early helps you to fold it right back up in just a couple of steps. You tie the elastic band it comes with around it and you’re good to go.
