This past week, my husband and I decided it was about that time for some new furniture to update our home a bit, so we headed up to one of our favorite local furniture stores, Underpriced Furniture.  Now, the original plan was to find a new kitchen table to replace what we have now, but you know how it is when you go shopping for one thing and end up finding 20 things you want too…

We found that since our last visit to Underpriced Furniture just a few months ago, their selection had grown even more. They carry brand new styles of furniture for every room in the home, including a huge kids’ furniture section. They continue to be one of the largest furniture showroom in the southeast with over 75,000 square feet of floor space, filled with layers of quality furniture that actually works within any budget. During my last visit, I fell head over heels over their Magnolia Home Collection by Joanna Gaines. This time, however, my attention was clearly drawn to their incredible mattress selection!

There are so many styles of mattresses to choose from, an overwhelming amount really. There’s memory foam, adjustable, sleep number, pillow top, and now these Hybrid Mattresses I learned about combine standard mattress coils for support and gel-memory foam for contour and pressure point releif. There are also many mattress styles that contain several different layers, each mixed and matched to help you find the ideal formula for you.

I also discovered the Adjustable Power Bed selection at Underpriced Furniture and am convinced that with my lifestyle, I need one of these in my life! Then after learning that these mattresses also have USB ports on the sides, it took a lot out of me not to make this my new workspace. Haha

Comfort and Support

Comfort is so important. (I know, duh…). That’s why when you’re out mattress shopping, you should always take the time to sit, lay, bounce, etc. on the mattresses. In addition to this, some mattresses contain a cooling element in which the foam works to draw heat from your body and disperse it out of the mattress for added comfort at night.

Cost

Yes folks, this is a biggie. Mattresses are such a huge investment and even though they are generally a purchase that last you for years, affordable is always better. A bonus tip I would add is to go the extra step to fully protect your investment of buying a new mattress by springing a little extra for a mattress protector. Plus, I didn’t know this before, but a stain on your mattress will actually void the manufacturer warranty.  I actually found a cooling one at Underpriced Furniture that adjusts to your body temperature, which we might look into getting.
