If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw some really yummy pizza pics from tasting I went to at Uncle Maddio’s Pizza. I’ve had a few people ask me more about them, and I’d be remiss not to share the delicious deets with you guys.
From now through the end of May, Uncle Maddio’s Pizza is offering a new Thai Flavors menu – featuring the Sriracha Chicken Pizza and ThaiTastic Salad. If you love the sweet-sour-salty-spicy flavor of Thai food, you will definitely enjoy these new menu items!
The Sriracha Chicken Pizza hosts all of these bold Thai flavors on Uncle Maddio’s signature homemade dough. Topped with grilled chicken, red onions, purple cabbage, and a delightfully complex sauce combination that we loved, but just couldn’t quite put our fingers on. Luckily, we had an Uncle Maddio’s chef on-site and he shared with us that the dressings consisted of homemade Thai peanut sauce and sweet and spicy honey Sriracha dressing. Wow!
Now I have to point out that I had the opportunity to try out their gluten-free variety of the Sriracha Chicken Pizza and I absolutely loved it! I am honestly not one to usually opt for gluten-free – especially when it comes to things like pizza – but I may actually go so far as to say I preferred it to the regular dough. Sounds like they’ve officially made me a gluten-free convert.
Then there’s the ThaiTastic Salad that features the same ingredients as the pizza and – you guessed it – topped with that “special sauce.” Because it was a tasting, I got to enjoy both menu options together. However, I would totally opt for this salad alone for a lighter lunch.
My family and I get to go to Uncle Maddio’s pretty frequently, mainly for things like the school
Spirit Nights and such. I love the fact that they use such fresh ingredients in their pizzas, as well as the fact that they are made-to-order and prepared right in front of you. All of their menu items are customizable, but since I know I could never have dreamed up the flavor combinations they’ve come up in their signature pizzas, I usually just opt for those.
Have any of you guys had a chance to try out these new Thai Flavors menu items? If not, which one of these would you most like to try?
