Oh my gosh! I would be devastated by something like that too! In fact, now I’m going to start checking shells before putting them to my ear!

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell
and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to
her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!

I didn’t know you could use it for so may things. I definitely want to try it for my dog! Oh and the fruit flies that will be trying to take over this summer!

From my experience, peppermint essential oil works a little bit better to repel ants. My whole house smells like peppermint. I primarily use the lemongrass for flying insects (mosquitoes gnats, etc.) because of the citronella.

Would lemongrass EO repel ants as well? I’ve been finding a few near my pantry and on my kitchen counter tops. Yuck.

I always love using essential oils & Lemongrass is one of my favorites as well. I never know it could help people with allergy related headaches & the idea of using it as a insect repellent sounds great as well.

I’d like to try it as a flea repellent. These collars make men nervous.
