Memories of my trip to India & more sweet escapes with TAZO® Chai.

TAZO Chai Kcup pads

About 14 years ago, I had the incredible opportunity to take a month-long voyage to India. I traveled with one of my best friends since childhood, who is originally from Gujarat, India, along with her family. Together, we traveled to Gujarat, Mumbai, Rajasthan, and Goa. Yes, wedding ceremony in indiaI am that person who visits India and never makes it to the Taj Mahal, but I will have to say each place I did visit was equally as fascinating to me. Plus, that only gives me another reason to take a trip back. *smile*   It was one of the most amazing trips I’ve ever taken and many days go by where I just sit and reminisce about that entire experience.

While I was in India, one of my fondest memories was having been introduced to Indian Chai Tea. Chai is a black tea blend that is steeped in 5,000 years of Indian history. It has a rich and creamy taste that’s part sweet, part spicy, and totally unexpected. I remember many moments spent enjoying a delicious cup of chai tea with my best friend over endless stories and laughs in her beautiful country and long for more sweet escapes.   (I have tons of great stories about my trip to India – like how I got my nose pierced in 2 seconds- and I’d love to share them someday!)
