Back to school season is not just for kids. Sure, your kids’ schools have given you a nice long list of school supplies to help you children succeed during the school year, but truth be told, back to school season can also be pretty overwhelming to keep up with at home when you consider the amount of forms, papers, projects, schedules, etc. that will inevitably flood your home office throughout the year. If you’re a work-from-home mom, like myself, you also need to make sure you are always fully stocked on things you need to be a success in your home business as well.
Luckily, in addition to the kids’ school supplies, I’ve also been able to find lots of affordable supplies for the home office at Office Depot® OfficeMax®. From storage containers to notepads, there are quite a few items you should definitely stock up on.
Storage Containers
Storage containers give your home office a polished look. Get storage bins for your desk drawers to corral your smaller office supplies, get pen holders for the top of your desk, and use large storage containers for storing extra supplies.
Pens, Highlighters, and Markers
This is the best time of the year to buy pens, highlighters, and markers. If you use these supplies on a consistent basis, now is the time to stock up!
Binders & Binder Accessories
These help you keep up with your paperwork and stay organized with your contracts, correspondence, receipts, etc.
Notepads, calendars and planners
For extra organization, I make sure to include a notebook and monthly planner in my main binder where I can also jot down ideas and make to-do lists.
Small Desk Supplies
Last, but not least, buy all your small office supplies during back to school season. Paperclips, pushpins, rubber bands, etc. are all on sale. Stock up so that you don’t have to pay full price later in the year.
