Best Anti-Aging Essential Oil Recipes

07/11/18 | Green Living & Holistic Health

Aging is inevitable for everyone. But some of the effects can be minimized with less effort than many realize. All it takes are a few essential oils and other ingredients that are easy to obtain. Here are the best anti-aging essential oil recipes that you can make yourself at home.

Do you want to feel good and look younger than your age? Here are the best anti-aging essential oil recipes that you can make on your own.

3 Essential Oil Recipes for Anti Aging

Essential Oil Anti-Wrinkle Cream

Coconut oil is one of the best carrier oils for making creams with essential oils. Not only is coconut oil good for your skin, but the several essential oils added to this anti-wrinkle cream have added benefits.

You will need:

  • Coconut oil (organic, unrefined)
  • Tea tree essential oil
  • Clary sage essential oil
  • Chamomile essential oil

In a glass jar, combine all of the ingredients. Use several drops of each essential oil for every two ounces of coconut oil. Apply to the affected area by rubbing in gently up to twice per day.

DIY Dark Circle Serum

Olive oil is one of the best carrier oils for other essential oils. But in this DiY dark circle serum, we are using Shea butter as the base for our two essential oils, one of which is olive.

You will need:

  • Pure African shea butter
  • Olive essential oil
  • Tea tree essential oil

Essential oils should always be mixed and stored in a glass jar. Recycled baby food jars and other small jars are good for this. In a glass jar, mix all of your ingredients evenly. Use several drops of each essential oil for every two ounces of African shea butter. It’s extremely important to use pure African shea butter and not just any shea butter to get the intended effect. To use this serum, massage in a circular motion in and around your under-eye area up to twice per day.

Skin Smoothing Butter

Dry or rough skin is often a factor of the aging process. For rough, leathery skin, try this skn smoothing butter using coconut oil, pure African shea butter, and several essential oils.

You will need:

  • 2 ounces Coconut oil (organic, unrefined)
  • 2 ounces pure African shea butter
  • 8 drops each of the following: tea tree essential oil, olive essential oil, sunflower essential oil, lavender essential oil and chamomile essential oil

In a glass jar, blend all of these ingredients by stirring until smooth. To use, rub this skin smoothing butter into your skin as needed up to three times per day. Store this skin smoothing butter in a cool dry place for lasting efficacy. Be sure your jar is tightly closed.
