SkyRocket Toys Mebo Robot Review

Once again, robotic toys are all the rage this year! The Mebo Robot With 5-Axis Precision Controlled Arm
by Skyrocket Toys is another great option for both fostering STEM skills and creative open-ended play.

The Ideal: What’s Great About the Sky Rocket Mebo Robot?

One of the best features of this toy is the fact that it has a total of 5 points of articulation which are all different. Mebo can also rotate up to 360 degrees. These features make it possible for you to make Mebo grasp and lift anything for you as long as you have set his mind to do so.

The other great feature of this toy is the fact that it is remote controlled. This makes it possible for you to control him to go as far as possible from you to execute different actions.

Mebo also features a total of 6 wheels that can withstand all kinds of terrain. This means you can take him anywhere you want without worrying about ruining the quality of his wheels. The other amazing feature of this toy is the fact that it is possible to stream everything he does in 720p high definition to your phone or tablet. This works great if you plan on sharing the content online with friends.

Last but not least, you get to hear everything Mebo hears and speak through a microphone. Thanks to this feature, you are able to make conversations with people in different rooms without having to move from where you are. Awesome isn’t it?

The Ordeal

Range of the built in WI-FI hotspot is very limited. This makes it impossible to use Mebo when you are in a remote location.

The Real Deal

It might not be possible to use Mebo more than 30 feet away from you. However, this toy was not designed for that purpose. It was made to give you a number of play options, to give you interaction with the toy and to make play time more fun – which it does. The pros outweigh the cons and Mebo without any doubt is a high quality toy anyone would want to have around.
