Because there’s nothing funny about diaper rash… #ButtPasteMom

05/09/16 | Tips for Moms

Boudreax's Butt Paste for Diaper Rash Relief

Who can forget the very first time their baby was plagued (for lack of a better word) by the dreaded diaper rash? I will never forget mine…

When I became a new mother to my oldest, Leila, I followed pretty much all of the “rules” of diaper changing: I changed her diaper every few hours, cleaned her little bottom up really well, and would even put some kind of ointment on her as a protectant. However, as do all parents, I eventually screwed up and missed a step. Next thing I knew, my poor little baby was met with an awful case of diaper rash. She was miserable as she dealt with an aching, red, raw bottom and I was just as miserable seeing her suffer. We tried a few different products to help her, but her rash was really bad at this point and nothing seemed to work. She cried, I cried. She couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t sleep. It was dreadful.

That was when I was first introduced to what was presented to me as the “holy grail” for diaper rash relief by a close friend of mine – a product called Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. Of course, my husband immediately burst out in laughter at the name, but I quickly turned to him with the stern face of a sleep deprived mom and said,

“There’s nothing funny about diaper rash!”

I was recommended to use the Boudreaux’s Butt Paste Maximum Strength formula for this stubborn rash. Of course, after doing a little research on it, my husband and I both felt comfortable trying it out because it didn’t have any harsh ingredients, was paraben, preservative, and phthalate-free, and contained no artificial fragrances. (Safe, simple ingredients are always a plus for us!) Next thing I knew, my poor, sweet baby’s diaper rash was quickly cleared up and we were all smiling again. I was completely sold! By the time I had my second baby, I knew exactly how to handle the dreaded diaper rash and never had a sleepless night again (at least not one due to a dreadful diaper rash).

By the way, the formula was developed by a pharmacist and father of four who I’m willing to bet knows what it’s like to have a sleepless night or two.

Now that I’d like to think of myself as a veteran mom, Boudreaux’s Butt Paste is always something I recommend for new moms as one of the baby products to always have on hand in their nurseries. Sure they laugh at the name too, but they’ll soon learn just how NOT funny diaper rash is too. *smile*

—Giveaway—

If you’re a new mom or a veteran mom just paying it forward, you can enter to win a prize package of Butt Paste products worth over $35. This is perfect for a baby shower gift or stocking your own nursery!

When one of my twins first had a diaper rash, I was really panicky, since it was my first time as a mom as well. I wish I had these products to help me out! They sound amazing!

I’d say this one’s worth it. Diaper Rash has always been neglected as a serious concern and I understand, I’m not here to point fingers since we’ve always thought we knew the solution. A product like this should work wonders and change things now!

This one is real new, Paste? Nice to try this one for my little one. Luckily, diaper rash is one of my less worries since my kid is having it just some of the days.

When my son was little he had diaper rash, at least being an inexperienced mother that’s what I thought. I treated it for a week, it didn’t get better, it didn’t get worse, so I took him to the doctor. Turned out it wasn’t diaper rash. I felt like such an idiot.

My daughter has many, many diaper rashes. It’s like I can never get it under control and I have to watch what she eats so it doesn’t come back. The perfect rash cream is the key!

Oh gosh. I remember diaper rash. It’s one of the worst things ever coz you really can’t do much for the baby and the baby turns into a banshee due to the pain.

I have twins, so it is constantly a lot of go-go-go. I think the toughest mommy moment is when both are in need of something, throwing a fit, and crying. They become irritated and I have to try my best to remain calm or just walk away so I dont cry, too. lol.

The joy though that does come from being a mother is unbelievable, so it is worth it.
